Seaward Development entrusted the design of this residence to award-winning architect Mark Sultana, AIA, principal of DSDG Architects. Sultana’s vision was to take full advantage of the sweeping views of Big Pass and the Gulf of Mexico. The residence embodies a modern aesthetic that incorporates the architectural principles of the Sarasota School of Architecture. David Young, RLA, principal of DWY Landscape Architects was commissioned to seamlessly extend the architecture into the garden spaces. Additionally, careful consideration was given to the overall site plan to create a clear connection between the main home, the grounds, the pool and the water beyond.

A secure gated entry opens to a motor court with entry to the guest house and supplemental parking for visitors. Step inside to find a great room that truly lives up to its name with 20’ ceilings that extend to the covered lanai and 10’ sliders that create a truly seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces. The gourmet kitchen includes professional grade appliances, custom cabinetry and an expansive island with views of the pool and Big Pass. The large format porcelain tile found throughout the first level creates a homogeneous palette for the open floor plan that overlooks the exquisite pool terrace, making the home perfect for intimate family gatherings or entertaining a crowd.
